OUR STORY
Zonal began in the UK in 1979 when the McLean family noticed they were having issues monitoring sales and operations at their family hotel and bar in Edinburgh.  Ralph McLean, the founder, realized the hotel was losing around 30 dollars a night.  He invented a solution to manage and control operations, creating the first Zonal POS system.

In 1993 Zonal expanded to the US, setting up operations in Florida. Today Zonal supplies systems all over the country including Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, Georgia, and more!

We have over 400 employees worldwide. The US market is our key focus. The unrivaled financial stability and success of Zonal has enabled the business to invest significantly in product development, and we lead the market with innovation especially in the field of customer engagement, guest management, optimizing the power of social media and digital marketing.

We’ve partnered with QSR to offer state of the art kitchen display systems (KDS).  KDS revolutionizes food prep by getting rid of paper tickets, reducing ticket times, improving food quality, and allowing for easier management. The KDS integrates with our system for seamless use.

Z-Loyalty

Customer loyalty is key to any business. We built our own customized loyalty program to communicate with and reward loyal customers. All marketing and data collection is automated and integrates with our point of sale.

Leasing Corporation of America

Our partnership with LCA allows us to offer flexible leasing options for our point of sale solutions. Zonal POS systems can now be financed over a 60-month term or payments can be delayed for the first 90 days through LCA.  At the end of the lease, there’s even a buy-out option so you can own the system.
